Hello, this is AKheon. I search and document glitches from various video games. On occasion I might also speedrun.
In the past I tried uploading something once a week, but my uploading schedule has taken a hit because of both real-life stuff and also the occasional proclivity to make some longer speedrun history videos (those take a lot of work).
I almost never use hacks or mods when making these videos. But in the rare case when I do, I will mention it in the video description.
Leave a comment if you want, those are always fun to read.

God of War: Ragnarök (PS4) - mechanics overlap glitches
Kratos' actions can be generally divided into two groups: arm actions (aiming, Axe throw, recall, weapon switching, etc.) and body actions. The game has a few different mechanics overlap glitches which make it possible to overlap almost any two actions between these two categories, or even multiple arm actions at once. Mayhem ensues!
The video contains the various mechanics overlap glitches which I discovered myself. Most of this stuff is probably known already, but it's worth putting on a video.
To note, there's actually a whole glitch combo community that uses this tech to make impressive combos in GoW: Ragnarok, and I recommend doing a search if this seems interesting.

Similar to the Runic/Relic buffer glitch, you get glitchy results if you buffer a Rage-activation, then switch between Rages before it begins. This tech is universal. You can set it up by buffering Rage during various navigation animations (like climbing a step), but there are also some moves in Kratos' move list that let you buffer Rage, such as a roll, which I'm using as set-up in this video....

On DS, you have to move the camera far away from your player character to make level wall objects vanish for a moment. I don't know if it would work the same way on 3DS.

Question, do you know if you can ignore the forced shrug when the realm tower gets destroyed in the raggy battle(by the lasers)? Asking since it’s annoying to have to experience it every time.
Hmm, I'm not sure. I didn't test things in that level.
@@AKheondoubt there is much to test there in terms of glitches, only thing I found for glitches or cool stuff was having jormy not spawn when you enter the broken wall but looking back when you hear the footsteps of the giants, or waiting a bit and going back after you hear that to get under them for cool shots.
@@Omar8181 I guess I'd try something like entering the shrug trigger with a runic slide to see if it activates.

The timing of the wing flap is so sudden that I found it hard to anticipate it. But yeah, frame rate or other factors could maybe impact the launch height or direction.

Most of the footage was captured on current version, so I don't think the version you're using should matter. Make sure you understand how the technique works. Use L-stick to activate a traversal prompt and use D-pad to sheathe your weapon (i.e. switch from Axe to Unarmed) at the exact same time. Now you can do more actions as Kratos begins using the prompt.
